We Dare to Imagine
Stepping out on Faith to Answer God’s Call
In 2014, God blessed Pastor KJ with a mighty vision.
Since its inception, our community has been fueled by audacious Dare to Imagine Faith.
It is that level of faith that inspired Pastor KJ and Kimya to invite 20 people to their home to talk about the possibility of planting a church. That audacious faith motivated those people to spend their weekends with Pastor KJ and Kimya daring to imagine something that was not just a church, but a movement and a way of life.
That audacious Dare to Imagine Faith led Jerry and Raye Johnson to host a worship service in their living room just a few weeks later, which led to tours of possible worship spaces just days later. That audacious Dare to Imagine Faith found the group worshiping at First District Plaza
the very next weekend.
It is the Dare to Imagine Faith that said, “We can launch a church in under four months.” That same faith led to 350 people joining us for our Launch Day Worship Service on 1 March 2015.
It is the Dare to Imagine Faith that orders our steps with intentionality. It is the Dare to Imagine Faith that, on a daily basis, allows us to live out our mission of connecting people to Jesus Christ,
empowering them to dare to imagine and live a better life.
It is the Dare to Imagine Faith that has brought us nearly 500 members and led us to invest $80K as we served our Philadelphia community.
And it’s that same audacious Dare to Imagine Faith that led us to now purchase the former St.
Therese of the Child Jesus Christ Church campus, located at 6611 Anderson Street! This property will sustain us as we continue to answer God’s call to Dare to Imagine.
God has called us to imagine His full purpose for our lives, our church, and our community. This year’s theme, Imagine Greatly, is a reflection of God’s command for Dare to Imagine to enlarge our territory while blessing our community along the way.
We know that in order to connect people to Jesus Christ and dare them to imagine and live a better life, we must help them grow spiritually, personally, and professionally. After all, Dare to Imagine is more than a church. It’s a way of life—it’s a movement!
In life, we each hold dear a place we can call our own. And so, it’s time to begin our work on the Dare to Imagine Campus.
