Lamar Stewart, Taylor Memorial Baptist Church and other Christians leaders to engage individuals on street corners and corridors of Philadelphia to end gun violence through providing employment, trauma-care, faith-based resources and other social services. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Some nights may be cool so be sure to bring a sweater too.

Our community walk will only be 2hrs. We will start promptly at 9pm and end by 11pm. Please arrive no later than 8:50pm.

Here is Dare to Imagine Church’s schedule:

  • June 10, 9-11pm – we will meet at Chew Avenue & Washing Lane corridor.
  • June 29, 9-11pm – we will meet at Chew Avenue & Washing Lane corridor.

We need both men and women to participate in the community walk. Our experience has been that men and women are needed to pray for our sisters and brothers who are seeking hope, inspiration, encouragement, and renewed faith.
